Application and selection guide for ozone generators in mushroom inoculation rooms, growing rooms and changing areas, including capacity and safety guidance.

Select by application and room volume

FCY-3 and FCY-3A are primarily intended for mushroom inoculation rooms, while FCY-5A, FCY-5B and FCY-5C are primarily intended for mushroom growing rooms. Measure the effective volume and account for sealing, temperature, humidity and treatment time before selection.

Operating principles

Operate ozone equipment only while people and animals are outside the enclosed treatment area. Allow decomposition time and ventilate thoroughly. Confirm compliance with local occupational health and safety requirements before re-entry.

HYGIENE BASIS

Equipment is one part of the hygiene programme

Separate production zones first

Chinese Ministry of Agriculture guidance calls for separation of raw-material, production, finished-product and living areas, as well as clean and contaminated flows.

Manage each area continuously

Inoculation-related rooms require routine sanitation, while growing rooms require cleaning and pest control. Ozone does not replace cleaning, zoning, barriers or ventilation.
